The loss of strength and muscle mass is a normal part of the aging process. Although we can’t stop the aging process, we can control the quality of our life as we age. That is what strength training for seniors can provide for us as we age. Strength training can also help reduce the negative effects associated with seniors such as osteoporosis, arthritis and lower back pain. All of these benefits lead to improved functional mobility and quality of life. ​
